Darryl Demos, Chairman, CEO, and Founder
Darryl is a sought-after advisor to financial institutions in the U.S.
and Europe. As a CPA, productivity expert and successful entrepreneur,
Darryl helps financial institutions maintain balance across critical
areas — sales, customer service, internal controls and efficiency
— in today's changing marketplace.
Darryl is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, a faculty member
of the New England School of Banking at Williams College, author of
banking trade journal articles, and a frequent speaker on bank management
and operations issues. In the words of one of Demos Consulting's clients,
"Darryl brings an invaluable array of skills and instincts to productivity
improvement. He has the financial acumen of a CFO, the skills of an
accountant, the mindset of a sales director, and perhaps more importantly,
the vision of an entrepreneur."
Darryl is also the principal architect of StaffSmart® and StaffSmart
Enterprise, a software tool that enables financial service companies
to automate branch staffing at transaction, individual, team and business
unit levels, while providing a solid foundation for sound business decisions,
especially during the inevitable restructuring that occurs following
mergers and acquisitions.
After earning a master's degree in accounting from New York University,
Darryl became a CPA and spent four years in the Financial Services Consulting
Division of KPMG Peat Marwick in New York City. He spent the next four
years with W. M. Sheehan & Co., a Boston-based consulting firm,
where he provided clients with strategic and financial advice, and developed
internal operations and productivity practices. In 1990, he established
Demos Consulting Group Ltd., to help banks, mortgage companies, mutual
funds and loan servicing organizations improve the cost efficiency and
quality control of major sales, customer service, back office and financial
functions. A specialty practice of Darryl is the re-engineering of financial
and accounting workflow among branch, operations and finance divisions
in consumer banks.

Jim Holland, Director of Client Management
Jim Holland has 20 years of experience in strategizing and implementing
productivity solutions for financial services organizations. With his
background focused on process enhancement development, operational improvements,
and resource management across all types of financial and non-financial
organizations, he is in an excellent position to ensure our sales efforts
are needs-based for all customers. As Director of Client Management,
Jim is responsible for providing strategic direction, solution formulation,
and relationship management support for our customer management team.
Jim received a bachelor's degree in economics from the State University
of New York at Buffalo.

Kevin Steel, Director of Product Technology
With over 20 years of experience in banking, insurance, and investments,
Kevin has a first-hand, comprehensive view of the challenges and opportunities
within the financial services industry. Kevin applies his practical
knowledge to meet the product development needs of our customers in
his role as Director of Product Technology. In this position, Kevin
is responsible for leading the development and delivery of our software
solutions. Prior to joining Demos Solutions' technical team, Kevin held
numerous positions in the financial services industry including in the
front lines as a regional manager and investment consultant, and in
the back office as a controller, operations manager, and chief financial
officer in various financial service companies. Kevin earned his bachelor's
degree from Bentley College.
